Criteria to Participate in the Program

The Contented Critters Spay Neuter Program follows the MN SNAP program’s income eligibility, as well as some additional requirements. You must meet each of the following criteria:

• You or your family participates in a federal or state needs-based public assistance program including: Food Support (SNAP, WIC), Medical Assistance (Medicaid, PMAP, MinnesotaCare) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI); and

• You earn less than $45,180 as an individual or less than $93,600 as a family of four; and

• You must be 18 years of age or older; and

• You must have a permanent residence in Ely, Winton, Babbitt, Embarrass, Tower, Aurora, Hoyt Lakes, Eveleth, Gilbert, Isabella, Silver Bay, Biwabik, Britt, Angora, Virginia, Orr, Cook, Chisholm, Mt.Iron, Cherry & Hibbing.
