Hello! My name is Hailey, I am the director at Contented Critters here in Ely, MN. My career with animals started at the Ely Vet Clinic, I have worked there for almost 7 years and still am. There is no way I would be able to have done this without the support of the Ely Vets. I find myself incredibly lucky to have learned from the best. I absolutely love saving critters. Any ANIMAL, big or small, I am always willing to give any critter a fighting chance. My passion for animals goes beyond saving them, I LOVE sharing the happiness they bring, My favorite is visiting the lovely residents at Carefree in Ely.

Hi! I’m Hanna, and I’ve been with Contented Critters for a year now. I’m 27 & currently in the vet tech program at the college in Ely. Fun fact: prior to this career change I went to pastry school in Chicago right out of high school & then continued working in bakeries/restaurants in Chicago for 5 years until moving to Ely in 2020. I’m thankful to have the opportunity to pursue both of my life passions! I love baking, critters, hiking/camping, snowboarding, and working out. I have two cats (Pluto & Oswald), one dog (Mo) and one fish. My favorite part of working here is being able to show the little floof balls that good, kind, & compassionate people still exist that wants to give them the love and respect that they all deserve no matter what condition they are in

​Hi! I’m Isabelle, and I’ve been a part of Contented Critters for a fun filled 5 months now! I’m 23 years old and in my second year of vet tech school at Minnesota North College. Originally from Duluth, MN, I am currently living in Ely while I complete school. Some of my favorite things include rollerblading in the summer and fall months, hiking state parks, cooking, and spending time at the cabin with my family. I have one furry friend, her name is Lily and she’s an older black lab. One of my favorite things about working at Contented Critters is being able to create a home-like environment for the animals and watching their fun and unique personalities come through and shine. Whats even better is seeing them leave to their fur-ever families!
